Rathbun Standing Against LRH

No less a dedicated propagandist than Joseph Goebbels once inspired Marty Rathbun in his campaign of hatred against Scientology and L. Ron Hubbard. “If you repeat a lie often enough, it becomes the truth” seems to be the guiding principle of Rathbun’s transparently perverse representation of himself and his purposes.

We’ve heard from him for several years now that he is “pro” LRH. In fact, hearing him say or imply this in numerous ways is the ONLY indication of that “pro” stance. His actions have virtually all been to the contrary, and clearly show that he is as much of an LRH hater as has ever existed.

For some background on this, see my article “Marty Rathbun Confirms He’s Anti-LRH Once Again.”

Aside from the fact that Rathbun is actively befriending and supporting the most unequivocal LRH-haters in the world today

Rathbun Can’t Confront Justice

Marty Rathbun is the anti-Source. That is, the antithesis of on-Source. Anything Marty says about Scientology or LRH can routinely be found to be so altered, so perverted and so much the reverse of what LRH says that you can be sure of one thing: Marty is dead wrong.

Take, for example, his attempt to position LRH’s article, A New Hope for Justice published in Introduction to Scientology Ethics and HCO Policy Letter of 25 March 1979. In this essay, LRH speaks about:

- The workability of Scientology Ethics Technology (You wouldn’t know it from reading Marty’s diatribes as Marty hasn’t applied an ethics condition formula this lifetime. What condition is he in? When he is committing Suppressive Acts that LRH says should never be done you have to wonder what condition he is in. Confusion would be a long way up for Rathbun.)

Rathbun and Co Hiding

We do not yet know how many lives have been ruined by the sex-trafficking nightmare that Tony Ortega and the Village Voice have been facilitating.

We do know that Ortega loudly ignored a petition of over 200,000 signatures delivered to his offices by honest people demanding that his publication cease it’s actions in facilitating prostitution and sex-trafficking via it’s cash-cow “Backpage” operation.

That hasn’t stopped him from falsely accusing others of human rights violations.

We also know that Ortega ignored my request to communicate openly about Marty Rathbun on this blog, instead of on the sly about “Rathbun and what he’s been up to,” as he put it.

Marty Rathbun relentlessly rants about fictitious “human rights” violations that remain invisible to all but a handful of conspiracy nuts, while ignoring his own complicity in supporting Ortega’s Backpage human-rights outrage.

Instead of answering up, Rathbun continues to rant about “corporate” mentalities while contributing to a corporation that is profiting from the worst kind of human degradation; and this while even former supporters of that corporation – such as a NY Times reporter – are calling the Village Voice and Ortega out on this unconscionable travesty.

Marty Rathbun Un Clean hands

Commenters keep wondering why Marty Rathbun and friends never can seem to get any “training” or “auditing” services going. The day-to-day actions of this little group of apostates seems to be commiserating over their state and complaining about “the Church.” That’s their focus, that’s what they create, and none of them are moving at all in Scientology despite the charade they conduct about being “Scientologists” and paying lip-service to wanting to get case gain.

Each effort by Rathbun’s minions to set up a training “academy” has failed for lack of attendance. Try as they might to get something like this going (they need it to boost their false PR facade) they just can’t get other no-gain-cases to attend. It’s not just that it requires hard work and that the “friends” they draw to themselves have already proven themselves to be unwilling to do that. It’s that the “group” they are creating is composed of people who failed when they had the chance to get REAL tech, due to their own out-ethics actions.

Someone with clean hands actually getting gain is not going to run off (blow) and start broadcasting how “bad it all is over there.”

Rathbun Hates Scientology and Scientologists

When Marty Rathbun can’t get anyone else to listen to him, he conducts a daily digest of internet screeds that follow the suppressive black PR pattern that L. Ron Hubbard described as “yesterday’s lies proves today’s lie.”

But every once in a while, Rathbun takes a break and phones in an interview with any radio host who will listen, even if it’s just a small-time local shock jock.

Aside from the fact that Rathbun’s entire interview is what he and his followers call a foot-bullet, with the radio host roundly mocking Marty (he chuckles and sneers at Rathbun’s corny lie about being an independent) Marty manages to give us a glimpse of his squirrel mentality.

Rathbun has continually tried to forward the absurd notion that he is “standard” and others are not. What does Rathbun say about Scientology when he’s challenged? How does he feel about the Tech and the results it can bring? Well, here are Marty’s words:

“You gotta look at it with an open mind.”

“Within Scientology you’re free to believe or not believe whatever you want.”

“I don’t believe anything.”

While Marty is looking for messages that you can get from Scientology, LRH had a different view when he wrote Keeping Scientology Working. The phrases namby-pamby and pantywaist dilettante come to mind when hearing Rathbun’s perverted explanation of Scientology to a frothing hatemonger.

Rathbun’s Idiocy

Imagine walking into an org and saying to the execs and staff, “You’re off-policy. You don’t deliver any Intro Courses, you don’t have a separate course room for all the many courses of Scientology, you don’t have Setting up a Session and an E-meter, an auditing room.” And asked if the auditing room (that was -15 degrees) was okay to be audited in, your answer was “Get lost. I won’t be audited in this room unless I wore a Kanuk parka” and their response was, “No, no, no, no. The LRH policy on quarters is that we can’t spend more than we’re making and this is what we can afford. But we do keep it clean. And that’s all we need to do.”

And that is the level of mentality of Rathbun, Rinder and their gang of idiots and morons.

If there was one thing that these idiots prove is their stupidity of policy. To this day, none of them can pass a checkout on HCO PL 13 March 1965 Issue III, STRUCTURE OF ORGANIZATION, WHAT IS POLICY?

“The only reason anyone fights good policy is they’re too stupid or too inexperienced in an org to understand it. Unable to grasp it, they are too lazy to work at trying. They miss words, don’t see reasons, imagine situations are otherwise and in general can’t grasp it. So they try not to use it or dream up their own.”

That is Rathbun. That is Rinder. That is their idiot companions.

They can’t grasp or duplicate:

“POLICY is a rule or procedure or a guidance which permits the BASIC PURPOSE to succeed.”

Their basic purpose is not good. It is against the greatest good.

Neither they nor their minions will ever stop the BASIC PURPOSE of Scientology, its orgs, Ideal Orgs nor the International Association of Scientologists.

It doesn’t take an idiot to see their basic purposes are evil ones. Even a moron can see that.

Marty’s Legal Hell

“I can’t run an org. I audit evilly. I destroy legal.” —Mark Rathbun

UPDATE – In light of those words “I destroy legal”—beware! Read into it as you wish but the sense comes clearly through. Some interpret it to mean, Marty Rathbun will destroy you legally. Others interpret it to mean he will destroy anything to do with legal cases. Then there is another possible interpretation—I will destroy legally or illegally.

There is one thing, no matter your interpretation— Marty Rathbun is out to destroy. He’s a warmonger with a lot of peripheral damage. As well documented, he wreaked destruction overtly and covertly with an always complex and continuous determination to harm or destroy. No matter friend or foe, Scientologist or non-Scientologist, when one confronts Marty Rathbun’s history and his continuing one, one sees nothing but destruction. His basic (evil) purpose—to destroy.

Well, we say “No!” to Marty Rathbun. He has no right to destroy the future of the minds of people he squirrels away with. He has no right to destroy the freedom of those who wish to create a better world. He has no right to natter and carping criticize the International Association of Scientologists who don’t give a hoot about him. They know “there’s nothing personal in having squirrels and even heroes can have lice” and so Marty Rathbun. Scientologists will continue to create Ideal Orgs in total support of Chairman of the Board RTC and to hell with Rathbun.

Beware, anything that Marty Rathbun touches he destroys. As you shall see, he continues his impeccable record of destroying.

Road to Hell

Despite the occasional benign-sounding endorsement of other practices, telepathy with fish, or a once-yearly pattycake picnic, Marty Rathbun’s daily words and actions show vicious, destructive intent to even the most casual observer.

Rathbun’s obvious stock-in-trade is invalidation and nullification, and, with the help of other moribund souls like Mike Rinder, he works to spread as much invalidation as he possibly can at all times. He may try to make his criticisms noble-sounding or legitimate, but they each boil down to an effort to nullify and invalidate. It is what Rathbun does, and is the signature of his personality.

Even the untrained recognize such a personality as negative and destructive. No matter the ruses Rathbun uses to persuade others he’s doing “good work,” anyone can see that all his efforts are directed toward bringing things down.

“Above 2.0 the individual plays to win. Below 2.0 the individual uniformly plays to lose. And not only does the individual below 2.0 play to lose for himself, he plays to lose for everyone else around him and for the future.

It is part of the mechanism of death that individuals below 2.0 talk as though they play to win, talk of the desperate need of saving and winning, talk of emergencies by which one is expected to win. This is all part of the trap. Given every opportunity and every facility and every circumstance by which they can win, people below 2.0 will inject into every plan the germ of death and, acting ever so reasonably, will permit that germ to grow until death is attained for the individual, his associates, for the future or for his organization.”

Marty Rathbun Altering In the New Year

What’s behind Marty Rathbun’s daily program of efforts to destroy the Church of Scientology?

People frequently ask here why can’t Marty Rathbun get anything straight? Why does Rathbun misrepresent the most benign efforts of Scientologists and the most pro-survival actions of thousands of good people – including Church management – every chance he gets?

Why must Marty Rathbun put a suppressive twist on his every utterance about Scientology?

In a 1959 lecture, LRH described the phenomenon in which Marty Rathbun is stuck:

“The basis of destruction is Alter-isness. And when somebody would like to destroy you, but can’t, all he can do is alter-is you.”

“…we see this in various ways. Entheta, you see. Here’s an auditor sitting in an area doing all right. Some other auditor isn’t doing all right, so they start accumulating overts against this auditor that is doing all right. The next thing you know, the person committing the overts gets madder and madder at the auditor. This fellow has never done anything, you understand, to this other guy. Maybe even sent him some pcs. And the more that B does to A, the more overts, overts, overts pile up into the more anger, anger, anger. You got the idea? It’s a one-man fight. There’s no other fight going on over here, see?”

“Boy, it begins to look like a cyclone is happening in this vicinity. This fellow goes to bed at night and bites the pillow, you know, and screams to himself, you know. And while auditing a pc or something like that — lets out little yips occasionally. And this is Alter-isness.

Destruction as we know it, in war or in anything else, is simply Alter-isness of the creation. It is not the cessation of creation — it is the Alter-isness of the existing creation.

But Alter-isness — Alter-isness is the keynote of all destruction.

And any person who has a great many overts against another person starts trying to alter-is. Get the idea? He starts to alter-is the other person. He alter-ises anything the other person is doing. You see? He alter-ises anything the other person thinks. He alter-ises any other thing the other person has as a reputation and so on. And it adds up to basically what looks like destruction. And this basically is caused or can be caused by no more than an overt. In other words, you get this silly situation where one overt breeds another overt, which breeds another overt, which breeds another overt, which brings about a bad opinion.”

LRH

This quote from LRH clearly points out that you just can’t trust anything Rathbun says. You see what’s beneath his frantic efforts to alter the truth. You see where his “bad opinions” come from.
